On the road to Cape Flattery.
It's about 6:00 am.
Still water at dawn.
I am literally the only person here---but I hear a roar so there may be a mountain lion close by.
The fog lifts making this a worthwhile journey but I'm still on guard because the occasional roar continues...
Stunning beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
The fog comes rolling in again.
And the fog rolls out again.
The "boot"
I look for sea lions to assure myself the roar was just from them....
It's starting to rain.
Another lookout.
Alas---no sea lions spotted.
Two stone feet.
